“I purchased Guy's book The Essential Laws of Fearless Living and I can truly say it must be the best book on the market today. Guy has a way of saying something that really touches the heart, a sort of mystical way with words. It has helped me a lot and I refer to it regularly.”

“I first read Guy Finley's words almost twenty years ago. It seems that with each passing year he finds even clearer explanations for these timeless principles. The Essential Laws of Fearless Living is one of his best works, showing the true power of honest self-observation.”

— Steve Gillman, author of Secrets of Lucky People

Apprentice is a landmark in the spiritual literature that can be enjoyed on many levels. This unusual book is likely to become a classic on the order of The Prophet or the works of the poet Rumi, both for its literary quality and its inspiring message.”

Talk notes: The better the instrument, the nearer the actual replication to the original principle. We are meant to be sensitive instruments whose purpose is to let God's hand play His notes through us. And in fact we are created to actually enjoy the "sound" of reality that is being played.

As a result of the natural enjoyment of the notes that are being played, we can become for others a reminder that there does exist a completely different kind of life -- a life that does not rely upon any kind of physical or psychological possession for its contentment. In being attentive to the present moment, you have allowed God to take possession of your life. And the more you are willing to do whatever it takes to become a properly responsive instrument, the more you will discover that everything you have been wanting and waiting for already exists right where you are.
