God's Great Story
A great poem, a timeless stanza of thought, a true writing that stirs and swells the heart; what are these precious forms save a moment of Love plucked from Time to stand as testimony to a perfection briefly remembered as the living foundation of all things.
The poet is presented the proposal, the moment where the Great Pain beckons him to marriage.
He is awakened from a slumber to answer this dark desire now upwelling in his aching heart. He answers by sacrifice. And if he will throw himself into this void then his words take on the character of tones; his sentences become lyrical, forged in the Light of his awareness as it plunges him into that unyielding desire that must know its mate.
The outcome is Creation; a new form is born that reflects the Formless.
Now manifest is a living art whose Eternal Parents have imbued it with their dual powers: first to evoke the heart to yield itself to an impossible longing, and then to fulfill that same emptiness with a new sense of wholeness beyond any further need.
We are the poets. We are the One. We are not only created to tell God's great story, but to know it, intimately, as our own.
