What may or may not happen is not ours to know; the whole idea of any time "to come" is born of imagination; and when it comes to 2012, or any other projected time of massive change, the accompanying fears are born of negative imagination as the sleeping mind (and the false sense of self it generates) thinks through what it might lose "if and when." So, tell your children what you are working to understand yourself: help them to see there is nothing to fear if we stay awake to the parts of us that want us to be afraid; that there lives in all of us certain unconscious aspects that don't know any better than to dream dark dreams, and that we can wake up from this nature anytime we catch ourselves having fallen under its spell. Teach them this truth by being it; anything else is hypocrisy, and quickly seen as such by a young mind that still "tastes" what it touches, and can't be so easily deceived.

And it doesn't matter what you know or don't know about this predicted time of global shift...because unless you choose to stand on the solid ground of the present moment, live in the Presence of it...and its unshakable relationship with the Good that gives rise to its expression, then it may as well be 2012 right now. Don't try to be fearless; choose what is in your power to "do"...as in working to be awake; in your working wish to walk in the Light of Truth you will find therein a new understanding...one that (once glimpsed by you) will be communicated to your children without effort: God is good, and those who love his life, and the light by which that life is revealed, are made for what happens to them. And when one knows this, what is there left to fear?
