Though you feel so isolated and alone...you are not; there is always a higher consolation, a truer reconciliation available for all of us...should we only know how to ask for it. But asking is not enough; we must also do the necessary work to receive it. One lesson you've learned here for sure, is that -- push come to shove -- virtually nothing and no one can be counted on to heal a broken heart when it gets shattered. That's why our work must be about awakening to another order of "heart" within us...one that is made stronger by setbacks, one that becomes wiser in the face of past foolish choices, and one that realizes greater love when dealing with the loss of (even) loved ones. And of this you may be sure: such a heart, such a love does exist.

Let me urge you to use this time wisely: choose in favor of learning instead of "churning or burning" over what can not be changed. Nothing is more useless than self-pity! Take the necessary practical steps, and don't let false concerns, guilt, or any other form of inner conflict act to bring you down.
