Don't name the resistance. Don't resist the disturbance. It makes perfect sense to this lower level of consciousness to blame others for the pain caused by its own resistance. The next time you feel that disturbance caused by resistance, do your best to not follow the habitual reaction of naming the resistance and then blaming its pain on someone or something outside of yourself. Instead, work to watch the judge that interprets each moment. Watch how judgment shapes the moment into an image that it then resists. Painful relationships with other people exist only because something in you sits in judgement of them in a futile attempt to resolve the disturbance you are feeling. In reality, the original resistance that you feel is a natural part of the moment. It has no name until it is judged. The naming of that disturbance is the same as judging it. As best you can, observe the resistance and the disturbance, as well as the judge in you that wants to put a label on it. Then you will discover that the original resistance, if left alone, is not separate from the moment's purpose, which is for revelation.
