Everything You Need to Know to Change the World You See

To see or not to see. When I feel I must control things before I become a captive, recognize that any movement taken in a direction to protect that consciousness ensures that I serve two masters. I don’t want to be one side or the other, I want to see this consciousness. That consciousness can't change its priority -- the only way it changes is by you knowing the truth that sets you free. Catch yourself already for or against something before you even really know what it is. See that something has drawn you into a prefabricated set of conclusions. Understand that this conflict doesn't originate outside of you. That's the whole task. My fear, resentment, hatred, doesn't exist because of what happened outside of me, it exists because of a consciousness that sees what it needs to see in order to keep itself in place. You can't serve two masters -- and you need to see that the masters themselves are actually a principality. Let me choose to see the fear, not what the fear says to see. I will discover that that consciousness and every "I" that comes out of it is a lie. The more you come to know this, the more you will be able to see the Father in you that has come into the earth to make the twain as one.
