The true spiritual aspirant must eventually realize a certain kind of sorrow for his present level of being... and, without apologizing for its stain -- or, for his existence -- proceed to sacrifice whatever is henceforth shown as lacking in his character as the Way to reconcile all that remains unbalanced upon the ledger of his soul.
