The Four Sorrows Hidden in False Pride
False pride is a self-inflicted punishment; it is a prison whose bars are made of rigid, flattering self-images enclosed within the equally false sense of self they create.
False pride, along with its equally false sense of self is highly flammable: it is quick to anger, and even quicker to blame.
False pride never questions the wreckage it leaves behind its actions, and therefore never feels remorse; it never feels as if it is wrong, but is easily offended...
All of which ensures the unfortunate soul infected with false pride is effectively cut off from ever seeing, let alone receiving and integrating the celestial lessons that lead to conscious communion with its Divine Source.
