Any form of identification with the insanity of this world -- regardless the "noble" name we may come up with as the reason for it -- serves to instantly negate our highest possibilities. And this makes us, in turn, complicit in the creation of our own limitations, so that we live in a kind of prison we help build, and into which we unknowingly cast ourselves.
Exercise
Remember: You're bigger than any fear you carry around with you, bigger than any unwanted moment. Not because you're "good" but because you were there before that moment took place and it's unfolding in you. In the moment of an onset of a challenge, understand that without "me" engaged in resisting it, it doesn't exist. "You're nothing without me, and I'm not going to be a part of you anymore!" Where are choices made based on the reactions? In me, not outside of me. When a monster knocks at the door, say "No. You're nothing without me."
