Even though it may sound like a paradox, the quality of obedience is intimately connected to perfect self-command.

Real command is not about controlling your own reactions, let alone controlling other people. Anything that you feel you must have control over is in control of you.

In order to fulfill its purpose in existence, a seed must die so that it may give birth to another order of itself.

Most creatures obey a silent command to do and be what Nature asks them to do and be, which is to serve a body of life greater than its own.

All things physical are the seed of creation... a seed that, in turn, is the seed of a Divine life revealing itself.

Everything in creation must yield to what acts upon it from above, otherwise it can't fulfill its destiny.

We ourselves are seeds of another order of life. We are given the free will to explore ourselves and go to the end of our possibilities given to us by the Creator.

Intellectual knowledge has its place, but it is corrupted because of the very fact that it comes out of the past.

We don't need to TRY to bring ourselves into the light... the light is already shining, and we need to realize that it is freely available if we will open our eyes and look.

Each moment of life is a seed moment for the so-called "next" moment. The seed moment is timeless, not a final destination. What is intended to grow out of each seed moment is a new and higher order of self-understanding.

Already living within the seed is everything that is needed, as long as the seed is obedient to what intends to use the seed for a higher purpose.

Who and what we are is inseparable from what acts upon us.

The first action in any moment that we don't want has to be the last thing that we want to do, which is to do nothing towards or from the consciousness that wants to escape from the revelation of that unwanted moment.

Presence is allowing Presence Itself to create a new creation.

The cause of unnecessary suffering is not in the world. The cause of unnecessary suffering is in the consciousness that believes that it knows the purpose of the world.

If I am obedient to a pressure-filled voice, feeling or command, then I am obedient to "my will," not "Thy Will."
