The Passage

We are conditioned to accept, without question, the resistance we feel toward any unwanted moment -- along with our subsequent negative reaction to it -- as proof of the reason why that condition is to be feared; so that it never dawns on us --as it must, if we are ever to be free -- the real problem is not the condition we're given to see as responsible for our pain. Rather, this suffering is born of (our unseen) identification with some form of unconscious conditioning.

And yet, it is within our growing awareness of this fact -- that we have been incarnated into, and raised under the influence of an unconscious nature that continues to condition itself by trying to escape its own negative reactions -- that we find the key to our liberation from the dark realm of its compulsive imaginings.

So, it isn't a better dream that we need; what's needed is to awaken from the dreamer, wherein the realization that we must let go -- "sell all" that we have been -- is the same as our passage into a New Order of Being.
