Work on Oneself

When your senses reel, And all you can feel Is the pull of the world on you ... ... Cling fast to your Aim, Remember His name And strive in your Work to be True.

He reads the Great Truths in order to resonate... To have his heart sound out the soothing tones      of Timeless Light Captured in the printed word upon each page. What are such words other than invisible Truths      made visible... The ineffable made tangible to nourish hungry hearts? Such sentiments caught on paper may be Either a window or a door -- a passage or an impasse...

It is one thing to acknowledge and agree with the truth that sets us free, and it's another thing to act on that knowledge. To act on the knowledge that you have means to not avoid what you know to be true in the moment when life stirs something in you. Learn to investigate and open yourself up to all that life wants to present to you, regardless of its character.

Meditation Talk: 2/28/2020 - Strive for excellence in all things -- especially in your spiritual work -- to make your studies and actions continuous. Even a small amount of inner work on oneself, done each and every day, is better than a "grand" effort made every second moon.
