Talk notes: The momentum of our daily lives can sometimes make it seem like we are on a runaway train. But for those of us who are tired of going nowhere, it is possible to catch ourselves on a familiar track and make the inward leap to a whole new track. What does that mean? It means that we can simply be where we are instead of forever traveling along the same old track toward some future promise that never comes.

If we will dare to come back to where we are as many times as we possibly can, then we will feel the unconscious momentum of that never-satisfied nature, and for the first time in our lives we will begin to understand what it is that has been running our lives.

Do we have the courage to derail our depression, our irritation, our fear, our momentum, our certainty that we can't take another step? In order to be free we must have the courage to derail these negative states, which will happen when we see for ourselves that there are no higher possibilities for anyone who lives on a runaway train on a track to nowhere.
