Notes from grateful readers.

“I purchased Guy's book The Essential Laws of Fearless Living and I can truly say it must be the best book on the market today. Guy has a way of saying something that really touches the heart, a sort of mystical way with words. It has helped me a lot and I refer to it regularly.”

“Oh boy am I pleased that I joined, I have only listened to a short audio -- it's confirmation, it's home and this is a brilliant program. Thanks a trillion million.”

“Guy Finley has done it again!! His new book The Secret of Your Immortal Self provides the reader with insights and wisdom on how to breakthrough the shackles that hold us back from experiencing our God given right to have a richly rewarding, fulfilled and meaningful life.”

— Greg Voisen, Founder, Inside Personal Growth and author of Wisdom, Wellness and Redefining Work

“A wonderful book whose meditations will help anyone interested in 'letting go' and entering higher consciousness. Since the meditations are synchronized with the energetics of each season, they will be more powerful -- produce greater results -- than normal meditations. Mr. Finley's essays on the four seasons are well worth reading and by themselves are worth the price of the book.”

— Joseph Polansky, Editor, Diamond Fire Magazine

New Strength to Start Life Over

Key Lesson: Whenever unhappiness lingers on -- so much so that we start believing darkness has won the day -- we may find new strength to start life over in this bright truth: the only cause for our continuing sense of feeling so bound and restricted is that we have agreed -- without knowing it -- to live in a world smaller than is our potential to let go of whatever may be limiting us.

Ask the Masters

The following short set of questions and answers is taken from one of the special sections that end each chapter in Guy Finley's newest book, Let Go and Live in the Now:

QUESTION: Whenever I read or spend time pondering truthful things I often feel as though nothing in the world can bring me down. In those moments I am the conqueror of all that had overcome me only minutes before. Can you shed some light on what helps lift me like this?

ANSWER: In the presence of greater meaning all lesser meanings -- that fill our ordinary mind full to the brim -- shrink to their true proportions and cease to steal from us. For in the presence of greater meaning we are redeemed from everything small and trivial and absurd. --- Maurice Nicoll

QUESTION: Why does it always feel as though life is pulling on me from two directions at once? On one hand I know I want a new and higher life, free from my past; but more often than not it seems as though I'm caught in a strange undercurrent that won't let me let go! I could really use some encouragement.

ANSWER: "The great Architect of the universe conceived and produced a being endowed with both natures, the visible and the invisible: God created the human being, bringing its body forth from the pre-existing matter which he animated with his own Spirit . . . Thus in some way a new universe was born, small and great at one and the same time. God set this 'hybrid' worshipper on earth to contemplate the visible world, and to be initiated into the invisible; to reign over earth's creatures, and to obey orders from on high. He created a being at once earthly and heavenly, insecure and immortal, visible and invisible, halfway between greatness and nothingness, flesh and spirit at the same time . . . an animal en route to another native land, and, most mysterious of all, made to resemble God by simple submission to the divine will." --- Gregory Nazianzen
