Exercise
Learn to sense the will of a lower nature acting in you. In any moment of a strong negative reaction, something in you knows you are being asked to step up and do what is right, but of yourself you do not have the will to enact it. Place your attention on what you know is good. Remain attentive to the feeling of this resisting nature that says, "I will not... Stay here in this world where you hate your weakness... Stay in the dark because it's safer here." Test the validity of the "will not" nature and remember the higher part of you saying, "But I will." Stay with this higher Will that understands the need to break out of resistance while observing the nature that wants to drag you back into it. Where there's a Divine Will, there's a way. It is always there, but you need to be there to attend to it.
