Part 1

When fear creates morality, as well as the rules governing them, there is no longer morality... and it is fear that governs.

Part 2

That we should search only our own conscience for confirmation of what is good and true, this is the best definition of integrity; for that which is good and true is not social in nature, but spiritual in need and in deed.

Once we understand that all forces -- even the seemingly contradictory ones -- are secretly complementary, we stand on the threshold of not only discovering the lost secret of letting go and letting God... but, at the same time, find that we are well on our way to realizing the unconditional holiness of life.

Just as the Light of Truth is timeless, so too are its Laws; to learn these Laws -- to be their instrument, so as to invoke their powers -- is to incarnate their virtues. And the soul that wills these laws, that reflects their powers and virtue, never perishes.

Part 1

The unwanted moments that move in-and-out of our lives are like shadows that pass through a forest on a sunny day; they do not come as some blind force set against our best interests; rather, they come to help us realize what our best interests actually are.

Part 2

Any form of blame that we habitually identify with serves as an unseen confirmation, and therefore the reincarnation of that conditioned sense of self responsible for its painful reappearance.

Just as the eyes that see the sun cannot understand its light by which they behold the shape and beauty of all things, neither can the heart understand the love that calls it to know and encompass all things. Eye and heart are creatures in time, but Light and Love are not. Even so, all meet; and to be a silent witness to their inexpressible union... is to realize the pathless journey to the indwelling Divine.

Part 1

No negative reaction has the power to release you from what it blames for your pain in that moment, any more than pulling on the tail of a lion has the power to release you from its mouth!

Part 2

No reaction can resolve the cause of itself; which means -- despite how they may appear to us -- reactions are not choices unless you believe that living in one prison cell is better than another.

Part 3

Remember this truth: no reaction can resolve the cause of itself... Any more than a bad dream is likely to have a happy ending!

Part 1

Spiritually speaking, we have but one problem: we are unable to see that the source of our conflict with life -- including the suffering it induces -- is inseparable from an unseen false belief, as follows: unless we keep struggling with unwanted moments, we’ll never reach, let alone realize a time in our life... when we can finally rest from our struggles!

Part 2

Whatever is born in the darkness will be brought into the light... and will be made in its Lightness.

Part 3

We believe our experience is the result of the condition we see as responsible for having created it; so that, according to this view of life, the condition in question -- and our consciousness of it -- seem to belong to separate worlds. But this perception is not just untrue, it is the source of all our suffering. The truth is, what we see, and then experience -- especially as perceived in some unwanted moment -- is actually inseparable from our unconscious conditioning that first resists, and then blames any moment that fails to live up to its preconceived expectation.



Part 4

When all is said and done, every struggle to free ourselves from unwanted moments is useless... until we begin to see through the illusion that our true nature can be made a captive of some unforeseen event. To even glimpse this truth sets the stage for us to enter into a new order of struggle; where now, instead of being coerced into another fight to try and free ourselves (again), rather we "struggle" to see through any fearful sense of self that would convince us we can be made a prisoner of any moment in passing time.

The present moment and our awareness of whatever may be passing into and through it are one consciousness, much in the same way as the Eye of The Beholder shares an awareness of both the mirror, and the object it reflects.

Part 1

The witness to experience is not bound by it.

Part 2

It's impossible to enjoy any moment in life, while fearfully trying to control it at the same time... that is, unless your idea of pleasure is the pain of making impossible demands on "others," not to mention upon yourself.



Part 3

Every true self-discovery is the revelation of a lost correlation between our consciousness and our realization of its pre-existing relationship with whatever we have been given to see, and experience in that same moment.

Part 1

Life is change; it is creation revealing itself. We can either realize our existence within its movement as a designated part of its Divine design, or we can continue to struggle with unwanted moments in the false belief that the pain of our resistance (to them) proves we know how life is supposed to unfold.

Part 2

Dust to dust, ashes to ashes: nothing departs that hasn’t first arrived; nothing arrives that won’t depart. The awareness of this fact -- coupled with our willingness to embrace, and endure all that it implies -- ensures a glimpse of the following truth that -- once realized -- helps to release us from the fear of death: even though all things must end, so do all things begin again in that exact same moment: a never-ending revelation of a Life that never dies.

Part 1

The (Light of) Love never makes a mistake... but, in fact, never fails to “remake” the heart of whoever not only agrees to embrace the truth it reveals (about him or her), but who will then allow that revelation to lead him wherever it will.

Part 2

Freedom from what is unwanted by us begins by awakening to what is unknown within us.

Either we have command over our negative reactions or -- without ever knowing so -- our reactions take command of us, making us little more than unwitting servants of whatever painful thought or feeling we’ve empowered to push us around.
