A great part, if not the main reason for the work we do is to help create conditions under which all the parts of us can be brought together (i.e., to end the unseen interior division within us). To become whole, the mind must learn what it means to work with the heart, the heart with body, body with mind and heart, etc. So anything we do to unite feelings/insight/intuition with intellect, and vice versa is valuable. Clarity is one of the least respected, but great requirements for a person along the Way.
So, if you feel the interior prompting to keep a journal, then you need to undertake this task, and be true to it. When all is said and done, there are too many good reasons for me to tell you why daily writing down one's impressions is invaluable. But for now, here's the last thought: The little bits of light that we receive must be cared for -- fanned into a flame -- if we wish to consummate our relationship with what is True.
