Our eCourses focus on specific topics, building your understanding through a series of related talks. Most eCourses include MP3 audio and MP4 video formats you can play online.
In this exercise you will need some food that you can take bites of as you work on keeping your attention while eating.
To place your attention on what you choose doesn't mean that you resist or refuse what has come to claim your attention.
Attention is what connects you to all that is possible in consciousness, for its brightness and lightness or its darkness and falseness.
Mechanical attention is an instinctual level of attention that belongs to your physical being.
Conscious attention is what connects you to what reveals you to yourself, and without it no spiritual growth is possible.
The in-breath is called "affirming" breath, and the out-breath is called "denying" breath.
The divided mind principally gives its attention to either pleasure or resistance.
The purpose of this exercise is to show you that there is something in you that wants to use your attention for its own purposes.
