Exercise

See that when you are in a negative state, you have fallen into a "pit." Realize that the nature that led you into the pit cannot possibly lead you out of it, and any plan your mind formulates for escape is like pulling on a rope that goes nowhere. The way out of the pit is to be present long enough to hear the rescuing voice from above the pit which reveals the true way out. Your job is to bear the emptiness and remain aware of what seems "impossible" until the "possible" way out appears.
