Most of us have agreed to settle for a life that is "not as bad as that other person's life."

We presently set out on a search outside of ourselves to find a life without fear, not understanding that it is all an interior matter and that we do not have to go anywhere in order to find out for ourselves.

In negative imagination we struggle to make real what is already real.

We see and experience what our mind makes of the moment, never realizing that what the mind experiences is a shadow of reality with no substance.

There is never a moment in which the interior world is not being stirred. There is never a moment in which we are not being given existence.

What you see outside of yourself is a representation of what you are.

There is either a limited awareness of experience. or the unlimited experience of awareness.

A shadow is a two-dimensional projection of a three-dimensional object. But the shadow lacks the qualities of the three-dimensional object.

We presently believe that the shadow-world created by the mind is reality.

There is a difference between the sensation of seeing and the actual experience of it.

Life is always turning, turning, turning... but we do not see the turning because the mind gets stuck in identification with a static image.

The moment that you are aware of yourself in three dimensions, you are transported into something timeless, a new order of awareness that is already complete and was there before your awareness of it.

The timeless world is already complete, and you are intended to be completed within it.

The divided consciousness doesn't want the expansive awareness of what is timeless because there is no "me" there trying to complete itself.

Exercise: One, two, three... a timeless way to see. Shut or cover one eye and look out at your surroundings. Then uncover the eye and look with both eyes, changing the experience from a two-dimensional world into a three-dimensional world. Then as best you can, be aware of the experience of what you see in three dimensions.
