You are so correct when you say one has to want liberation more then anything else... but this lower nature can be most irksome to my soul, even in the slightest ways. I still fall into the shadows from time to time -- fantasies can be very stimulating -- but after a period of time of falling, something happens, and in a blink I will come back. I guess this is just pure mental laziness on my part. Knowing something and having complete healing are two different things!
Answer:
The great gulf between what one knows is true and that person's ability to be true is wide indeed; but, take heart: no one ever managed to cross the river of Life who didn't first stand before it -- realizing that of his own strength he will never succeed -- and then, by a faith born of knowing he must dare the waters -- begin to swim. Those who choose to make this crossing find what those who don't never will: the strength is given, a way is made, the distant shore awaits within.
