There are almost an infinite number of ways that people excuse their way through life. Everyone walks around with a false friend named MOE, which stands for "Master Of Excuses."

Every revelation is intended to produce a shock for the purpose of change. The wrong thing to do with the moment is to avoid the shock of revelation.

Think of common excuses, and refuse to go along with the reasons the mind hands to you for being the way you are. Let the revelation be. Find no fault in the revelation, don't judge it, and don't give it a name.

Make an intention to never again be "JERC-ed" around by the excuse-making machine. "JERC" being an acronym for "Justifying, Excusing, Rationalizing, Covering-Up."

The soul receives the light it needs when there are no excuses that avoid the revelation of ourselves in the moment.
