Nothing can change in our experience of life until there is a change in the understanding of our experience.

The purpose of every event is to help us change our understanding, so that we don't exit events as the same person that went into it.

If we learned the lesson in the moment, then we wouldn't have to repeat the same moment over and over again in the same way.

The divided mind looks to the future for what it wants to be because it is dissatisfied with what it is now. This is the creation of psychological time.

Every moment of life is God's gift, but we presently don't understand our place in it.

You can only recognize beauty outside of you because there already exists a corresponding part within consciousness.

There cannot be an impression without something that the impression is made upon. Something has been created in order to receive the impression.

We have been conditioned from day one to look outside of ourselves for peace according to what the mind has imagined. And anything that does not match is rejected, unwanted. If it is not familiar to the mind, it is perceived as an enemy.

A person's life gets smaller and smaller as there is more and more conditioning.

What is active is poured into what has been created to receive, that which is properly passive and in relationship with that active will.

When the observer is the observed, as it always is, there is no analysis of the meaning of the moment. The analysis is downstream from the impression as a function of the reaction.

Is it impossible to receive the lesson and be afraid of the impression at the same time. Rejection of the lesson is fear's self-protection.

A new moment can only be a threat to something that is old.

You cannot run from your own consciousness because that consciousness is creating the places you are running to.

The only reason people get triggered is because they need something to blame for their fear.

All we see out there are human beings trying to hide the wreck. The wreck is the very thing that needs to be exposed. It is the wreck that tries to hide the wreck.
