Catch the thoughts and feelings that consistently appear whenever a disturbance comes, then step off the "memory-go-round" and onto solid ground. Catch the small parts of you that are only interested in riding the memory-go-round, going round and round, revisiting over and over again the same thoughts and feelings that attempt to find peace from disturbance. Instead reclaim your attention and be aware of the movement of these thoughts and feelings without being moved by them. Remain for as long as you can in that awareness, watching and witnessing the movement of the parts. Step off the memory-go-round and quietly witness, without judging, the parts that distract you away from the peace and wholeness of your heavenly home. Then you'll start to know a different kind of peace that comes from being in relationship with the whole.
