There is no right wrong emotion; there is no true false feeling; there is no positive negative state: End of story. To begin seeing this spiritual truth is the first step in walking away from -- and then dying to -- a lower level of self; the part of us that doesn't care what it feels... only that it has some kind of emotion with which it can be identified.

"Not This Time"
Stop being passive to unconscious parts of you telling you what to be, what to do, and how to feel. Quit "drinking the wine of forgetfulness", believing you are acting in favor of yourself. See instead that you are being passively moved to do the evil you don't want to do.
Learn to say "I've had enough. Not this time". Become fully aware of that familiar negative state pushing you to act against yourself and others. The more you do this, the more you will strengthen your relationship with a new kind of strength.
