If you will learn to tend to every thing that appears in your life in its time, then it won't be long before the whole idea of being anxious over anything will just quietly give way to this ceaseless revelation, accompanied by its peace-giving realization: there is nothing more important for you to do, no other place for you to go... Than to be right where you are, doing what you're being given to do in each and every passing moment.
Truth is Imperishable; its timeless kingdom is untouchable. Therefore, the more truthful we can be with ourselves -- especially as concerns our present level of being -- the more we enter into a living relationship with Truth's Imperishable realm... wherein (we too) become untouchable by the "slings and arrows of outrageous fortune," and find ourselves beyond the ravages of passing time.
Until we learn how to ask ourselves right questions -- in the right way, and at the right time -- not only will we be unable to find real solutions to our suffering, but the very manner in which we formulate the questions we ask ourselves will serve, secretly, to keep us in a cage of our own making.
Until we stop trying, in vain, to fill the empty moments of our lives with all of the distractions we pursue to quell that ache, we will never see, let alone realize this same sense of emptiness -- that we now resist -- is full of Light, a Living Awareness that neither fears nor wants for anything outside of its own Native Wholeness.
Whenever we act from an incomplete understanding of the moment, the action we take must be equally incomplete. So, enact what we may in this way to resolve what disturbs us, we can never realize the peace we seek because -- by their nature -- incomplete actions always create incomplete results.
If you won't let love touch you, it can't help heal you.
Life -- this moment and every moment -- is a school for the education of the soul. At its heart is an invisible core curriculum, a kind of celestial "program" with one great purpose: to help us realize that behind each of the life-lessons that comes our way dwells a divine, just, and loving Intelligence that wants us to be one with its life.
