- Genuine prayer is connected to something you have genuinely seen about yourself. The wrong kind of prayer, the selfish kind, is connected to the avoidance of seeing something true about yourself.
- Ongoing psychological pain is always the product of having mistaken who you are.
- "Hell is a state of mind -- ye never said a truer word. And every state of mind, left to itself, every shutting up of the creature within the dungeon of its own mind -- is, in the end, Hell. But Heaven is not a state of mind. Heaven is reality itself. All that is fully real is Heavenly. For all that can be shaken will be shaken and only the unshakeable remains." -- C.S. Lewis
- The avoiding of any moment is, at its root, the avoidance of the experience of yourself. To "repent" means to turn around and be aware of the experience of yourself.
- See that the usual solutions to bring an end to suffering always lead to more suffering of the useless kind.
- There is nothing "out there" without what is "in here." The proof is that our experiences follow us wherever we go. Nothing "out there" can change "in here."
- Our consciousness is one of the conditions in each and every moment. It is not something that is separate from the moment you are experiencing.
- The "password" to "hack" your way into Heaven is "As You will." This password allows for something to do for you what you cannot do for yourself.
- The hell of time exists for anyone who tries to escape from the time they are in.
- Real change is seeing the need to change, not trying to change what you see.
- You have to die to the conflicted nature that is active in the moment of conflict in order to find that which is not dependent upon how any outside condition turns out.
- There cannot be identification with an image in imagination without there also being a corresponding identity produced by that identification.
- When something that is active acts upon something that is passive, an impression is created. And all impressions are intended to change the one who is aware of them.
- Resistance of the self-protective kind (as opposed to natural resistance) prevents us from meeting the impression that has come to change us. Seeing the impression is the same thing as allowing the revelation.
- Within every revelation comes the right action to perform, if an action is necessary. Wrong actions that miss the mark come out of avoiding those same revelations.
- Love has given you a life. Corruption, conflict and psychological pain comes from struggling to give yourself a life that you love.
- The world wants to create more and more confusion so that you can make more and more decisions that you can then be in conflict over.
