Do Your Part in the Flowering of Your Soul

Your life is meant to flower and open to receive the Light. Truth (God) would not ask a person to come to Him, if He had not provided a way.

We must learn to go from passive to active. I must realize that what is given is greater than my capacity to receive it.

I don't know what I need to learn, but I know that I cannot meet it with knowing. I need to come to the absolute end of my knowing.

When we hate, we hate what someone or something has revealed in us that was formerly hidden. When we hate what we see in ourselves, we are cursing ourselves for our inadequacy. Life is always showing us what we have brought to the moment, but we don't want a relationship with something that contradicts what we think we are.

There's no moment when God is not transforming you. Life says, "Let me give you what you need. But I can't give it to you if you hate me for showing it to you."

Story: A man goes to the gate of a school for higher understanding. People come running out of the gate screaming, "no, no, no!"  The man enters the gates and the teacher tells him, "Go into a room and be yourself for 5 minutes, then 20 minutes, then 2 hours. If you do that you will see that you cannot be yourself."

The being of oneself is different from the sensation of oneself. We only know ourselves through stimulation. I don't have to be better than God made me. All I have to do to flower is to stand in the Sun. Learn what it means to be yourself.
