Spiritual Keys for Realizing Individual Existence

We can be under the influence of something and not know that it is the cause of our pain. We suffer because we don't enjoy our natural individual existence. We live from and ultimately die from a thought world. Thought has no individual existence at all.

No one who thinks about tomorrow or fears death has an individual existence. We think something external to us will magnify our existence. We have the right to be the masters of our minds and hearts.

Thought is what moves the human being; the world doesn't. Thought is a form of matter. It is headed to something beneath itself. Thought speeds up because it is gravity fed. What moves thought along? Desire.

There is no me apart from the thoughts that are coursing along. Something passes through and defines me, but I have no existence apart from the stream. My familiar sense of self is a pleasure that turns into a pain.

The ocean of thought and emotion exist from here to eternity. We must be aware of everything that moves through us. My sense of self is created by being the opposite of what I think about. We must be consciously uncomfortable. We have a feature that is not thought. Thought does not evolve.

I must let the stream go through me without going with it. (Metaphor of a rock in the middle of the stream.) The flow will produce the energy.
