Find the New Eyes that Love Truth

Without a spiritual action a spiritual wish is meaningless. A person is invited into spiritual understanding. No one can give it to himself or herself. It is an action that sits above and within a human being. It stirs the soul by constant discontent with everything the world has to offer. What one has seen up till now is incomplete. Then one reaches the startling conclusion and realization that their eyes don't really belong to them. "They are not my eyes or they wouldn't lie to me."

A person sees what they imagine not what is real. And there is a gradual dawning that one has been blind, even though they have eyes, they do not see. A person sees through the eyes of their youth, through the eyes of their parents, teachers and the indoctrination of their culture. We live in the world that we see made up of our experiences and conditioning. We see ourselves, which is a projection of the world within us. We are captive of a thought bound nature and we are meant to be sailors of spirit.

A mother noticed her son was not happy and when she talked to him, he told her, "There is a little girl (dawn of truth) and she doesn't like me. She watches and smiles at me but then she runs away." "Why don't you go after her." "And leave my friends?" "You can have both, but one has to be first. The little girl doesn't want to play with what is dirty. With what do you want to spend your time?"

We spend our time within what we see. We see through what is active within ourselves. This universe we live in is a universe of request and response. We request what we think is necessary -- others liking us. The response to this fear is recurring dependence on others. The universe is perfect intelligence, perfect mercy, perfect judging and it always gives us what we ask for. We see a world that punishes us instead of seeing a world that is showing us we are asking for the wrong thing. Our experience is a direct reflection of our heart and being. We see everything through the content of ourselves.

We don't have to see what we presently see. What we see is up to us. We can begin to choose what we see. I don't see me but thee. Think about wisdom and wholeness of Truth. Take a spiritual principal and begin to see into it. Learn to observe yourself and see how truth is interacting. What's the truth at work in other human beings? Meditate on God. See what you are living from in the moment. Spend your time seeing truth. Center yourself in a different part of yourself. Being in the moment is a new way of seeing and it will put you in a new relationship with your life.
