Here is the Answer that Ends Wanting Approval of Others

Your whole life has been a pressure package under strain. Life under pressure is no fun. I can use the world around us and other people to catch a glimpse of something in myself.

We are pressurized by our wish to maintain an image. We escape uncomfortable ness through judgment. We want approval because of an unconscious confirmation of beliefs about ourselves.

Story: Man goes to party where he sees people fawning over the CEO's invisible statue. People are always posturing for approval. What is Real need does not need confirmation. The more a person wants to be approved for a quality, the less they have it. It is a curse to want any one to hold you in esteem.

Real wisdom is not selective about where it learns its lessons. Real wisdom doesn't fear being stupid. Try to notice what a person is posturing. Stop seeking approval. Seek instead understanding, and seek to understand you wish for approval.
