The suffering we are aware of can't be separated from the awareness of that pain; they appear together. The question is: do we allow this pain, and its attending sense of self, to continue mechanically reconciling our suffering?
Or...do we agree to consciously suffer the Awareness of this lower level of self - that includes its pain - by standing in the Light of the Holy Spirit that reveals it to us, allowing this Presence to make whole what has been a deep-seated conflict too long concealed in "our" consciousness...
