We are not typically aware of the weight of the physical objects that we pick up, just as we are not aware of the weight of the thoughts that we carry.

Lying has become second nature to us. For instance, it is a lie to try to manipulate the way that we are perceived by others.

A lie is any attempt to force life to line up how you have imagined it should be.

Judgment is a lie because it allows the judge to exist as the one who is separate from what is being judged.

The Ten Commandments do not exist in order to create conflict in yourself, but to illuminate the conflict already there. They are an instrument of revelation.

Affirmations are simply the flip-side of a negative nature that hides itself through those very same affirmations.

Every lie ever told cannot be separated from the motive for telling it. The motive for lying is to get through the moment in order to avoid suffering.

Behind every lie is the will of a nature that determines what is best for itself and everyone else.

You live with the weight of the lies that have been told in your name and that you have not seen as of yet. The weight of those lies can be put down the moment that it becomes clear that the nature that tells them is not you.

The root of any lie is some form of fear; it is a nature that constantly fears that it will not be able to continue on as it is.

A lie is the tool of a nature using you to complete its will. The problem is that you believe that its will is yours.

To "covet" is to want something that is not yours which the liar believes will be better than what you currently have.

It is insane for anything to believe that it can complete itself apart from what God has already created.

Instead of living up to laws for the sake of outward appearance, the teachings of Christ appeared as an invitation to internalize those laws. A new mind, metanoia. See the nature that is creating the condition instead of trying to manipulate the condition.

Be aware of the lie instead of being identified with the reason for it. Be aware of the negative state -- anger, anxiety, laziness, self-pity, etc. -- instead of being identified with the reason for it.

The will of memory, fear and desire seeks continuity, while the Will of the Divine is continually creating everything new.

The light that reveals is sovereign over that which it reveals.
