"Learn the Purpose of Your Pain"
We fight with pain only because we do not understand its purpose. Pain does not want us to know that we are its servant. So it convinces us to identify with it and resist it. And so the pain lives on.
But there is a part of us that knows that pain is not meant to be our master. You can't master what you fear...and it is not "your" fear. Learn to observe your pain, not to serve it. The more you grow to understand the purpose of the pain, the more its purpose will serve you. Then the very thing that causes your pain will free you.
