- It isn't your anger or fear or depression. They belong to a level of consciousness that is asleep to itself.
- The more we listen to conditioned reactions, the more we become a captive of that consciousness and suffer accordingly.
- The mind projects a negative and unavoidable tomorrow from its own conditioned content. It then reacts to its own projected image.
- The nature that is depressed loves to be depressed because it provides a distinct sense of self.
- It is difficult to not identify with negative states because our identity at that moment is dependent upon the negative state.
- When it comes to any negative state, the feel is real, but the why is a lie. The why is not due to the outside conditions that are blamed for the pain.
- We are experiencing ourselves through the condition that we are in, whether it is what we want or not.
- Something in you is afraid to live without the depression and anxiety and fear that gives it a purpose in life.
- You cannot deliver yourself from a depression without discovering the source of the depression. What remains concealed cannot be healed.
- Thoughts that are not good for us tell us good reasons why it is good to listen to them.
