- The reason the world is the way it is, is because we who are the world are responsible for the world we experience.
- The 'I' used to address some conflict it experiences is one and the same thing as the conflict it addresses.
- This work is about what happens when a man or a woman no longer wants to delay the inevitable discovery that they are at war again.
- Take no thought for tomorrow. Tomorrow will take care of itself.
- Love at first sight with the Truth.
- You cannot serve two masters, for you will love one and despise the other. The two masters that we serve are the intimate enemy: a level of consciousness that divides itself up into what it doesn't want and the you it calls on to serve and free it from the suffering it's in.
- The world I want doesn't exist without the world I don't want, meaning the world I want and the world I don't want are the same thing; one order of consciousness that can't see itself.
- The true middle path exists where one realizes that they can't take either side.
- There's no such thing as change by thought.
- Our true self is the perfect reflection of the moment.
- Conscious suffering is where the rubber meets the road.
- Self-induced drama of the negative kind.
- There is no point in time where suddenly one is free from self. The whole of our life is meant to be a rebirth.
- You can't change what you want until you've expired the idea that what you want is going to fix you.
- Just because we don't know we're thinking doesn't mean thought isn't going on.
