- Ying and yang are opposing characters but they live in a complementary relationship, as opposed to one pushing out and the other pushing back. They appear together constantly. Nothing I try to push away isn't pushing back as I'm doing it.
- Karma is the consistent, perfect, harmonious relationship between opposing forces.
- You can't escape any sense of unrest as long as you don't want it.
- No thought exists without its opposite. There's no concept of "up" without a corresponding concept of "down.”
- No sleeping human being can ever be comfortable with who they are, save for the passing comfort of the momentary appearance of some happiness or fulfillment from their work in the world.
- There's an endless struggle to resolve this deep unrest within us. The driving force behind that unrest is the struggle to bring an end to the unrest. - Creation itself is a great disturbance in which there is a ceaseless struggle — but the struggle in creation is already done, it's resolved. Rebirth is completion of the struggle, and inseparable from it.
- The only way there will be a time without struggle is if I start struggling to understand the situation, rather than struggle to make the situation fit my understanding.
- Within us is an order of awareness that is timeless. Light is timeless.
- Time is being canceled as it is revealed it belongs in this world only, not in the Timelessness of the Divine.
- You don't enter into freedom, you realize you were never outside of it. You don't enter into a world without struggle, you enter into a world where you understand the struggle is part of your freedom.
