True spiritual strength is realized (only) in the immediacy of a revelation that sets the stage for its appearance, which means that perfect strength can never be possessed; it can only be received and actualized in the light of a consciously realized weakness.

Exercise
Look for the places where what seems to be a strength is actually coming from a weakness. In any moment of disturbance, we want to see the source of the trigger, rather than blame something for the suffering it brought. See that anything telling you to avoid a situation, defend or justify yourself, or look for a power to get rid of the pain is just a branch trying to prove it’s the vine, which it can never do. As long as we sit as the source of our own strength, we’ll never know anything about true strength.
