- The root of fear is the mistaken belief that something outside of yourself can make you whole.
- The fearful self must defend itself against anything that threatens its image.
- Who you really are has no beginning and no end. But you must stop trying to save yourself in order to really know that.
- Not wanting a negative state actually nourishes it. Resistance is a form of negative attraction.
- You can't separate yourself that you don't want. Attention is connection.
- You can't avoid reactions, but you can change your relationship with your reactions through awareness of the consciousness involved.
- Every reaction holds within it the seed of a revelation.
- The world reveals the conflicted consciousness in us, and the world is the conflicted consciousness that we see.
- Before we are creators in this world, we are a creation. Nothing exists that isn't given something to serve.
- Learn to do what is in your power and refuse to do what is not.
- The only thing you are fighting with is some expectation you imagine you have to live up to.
- Life is not a race to win. It is a school for your higher education.
- Real fearlessness is the realization that you can't be given anything that is greater than your ability to understand.
