It is possible to know so much about the nature of fear that, one day, it simply runs out of ways to make you believe in its shaking.

Exercise

"Steady, Steady, Ready, SEE!"

All self-limiting painful negative states (i.e. fear, worry, anger) begin as a suggestion. We must see that these suggestions have no inherent power in them save what we give to it in the dark of ourselves.  

Work to be aware of the touch of life before the mind defines what it means. Remember the Captain's commands to Private Soon-to-Be: "Steady. Steady. Ready. SEE!" Allow awareness to change the condition for you. If you do, it's possible to know so much about the nature of fear that one day it will simply run out of ways to make you believe in its shaking.
