- When you are reliving any moment, you can't be reborn.
- Transfiguration is when something old isn't just renewed, but is remade in another image so that it is uplifted, glorified, and beautified as a result of its relationship with what has acted upon it.
- Something hasn't taken your freedom from you -- you have given your freedom away without knowing it. There is no freedom outside of a relationship with God.
- The purpose of every creation is to give itself over to what has created it. Every creation surrenders itself to the will that brought that creation into being.
- You can't separate rebirth from death, you can't separate spring from winter, you can't separate the blossom from the tree.
- Rebirth is not in some imagined time to come -- it is the fulfillment of time.
- The whole of the revelation is inseparable from your realization of it in real time.
- There is a divine current that never stops streaming down. What we call springtime is when what is in time reveals the effect of that divine current of life.
- In order for all creatures in time to participate in this current of awakening, they have to surrender their will to it.
- When a creation surrenders its resistance, then suddenly it is taken through a process of transformation and renewal.
- What is in time will pass in time. That's the law.
- We are too busy maintaining the creation called "myself" that sustains itself through imagination, not through awakening. And because it's sustained through imagination, it's reincarnated, and it will pass when the form passes.
- You can't acquire knowledge that will open the gates to the kingdom of heaven. You acquire knowledge as you see that the gates are already open.
- There is an awakening current on that which it comes to awaken. They seem to be opposing forces, active and passive, but they are not.
- Instead of letting resistance create the reincarnation of itself, the resistance is there to assist it in its transfiguration.
- Instead of resisting everything that comes along, we need to understand the unwanted moment has come to assist in our awakening. If we allow the awakening to take place, in the awakening is the rebirth.
- What we fail to complete in this life repeats.
