Be careful what you wish for. Every wish you have for a time to come ensures that you remain a captive of that consciousness caught in its own conflicted opposites. Wishes are a form of resistance, bringing with them a second force that will oppose the consciousness that made the wish. By Grace, we are invited to leave the realm of time and learn to understand the higher hand that guides us. Our needs are known before we know them ourselves. We need a new wish, having nothing to do with a time to come: I wish to see myself in this moment, I wish to understand what I'm aware of without thinking about it, I wish to accept what I don't understand (including my fear of not knowing). This wish itself is change -- no longer resistance but realization.
