"Catch Your Mind Speculating"

The mind loves to be anxious. It believes it can free itself from the unwanted condition that it has created. It speculates in an attempt to find the meaning of something, but speculation is futile because it is separation from the real meaning of anything.

Catch your mind speculating; suffering from "GWIS" (Gee-Whiz: "Gosh! What If...Syndrome").  Make your own personal list of things that you get caught speculating about. See the fact that you can't possibly know what is going to happen. It is awareness of this kind of useless suffering that gives you the strength to set it down.
