Topics covered:  The mind never stops thinking about the experience it is having in the moment, and its experience is the product of thinking; Thought is always telling us the meaning of the moment. The real meaning from the moment cannot be separated from the moment itself. The moment IS the meaning; The life we are seeking -- the freedom and peace we are looking for -- is not waiting for us in a time to come after we have achieved something.

Student Talks: 10/17/2025 - There is no painful state of psychological resistance to any given moment that isn’t preceded by some form of unseen demand that we have brought with us into that moment. 

Doing the right thing, in the right way, begins with seeing the right order of things. All of life's lessons point us toward this simple, celestial truth. Through the pain of missteps and mistakes, we are gradually awakened to discover what has always been right before our eyes: whenever things are out of order within us, our choices and actions must follow -- and sorrow is the inevitable result.

Topics covered:  If you don't participate in life, there is no reason to be here; For you presently, so-called "positive" is figuring out how you can escape from the "negative"; You sink into the very negative state that you are trying to reconcile in thought.

Topics covered:  The last thing that human beings want to give up is their suffering; The root of every ongoing, painful psychological struggle is the attempt to avoid suffering; None of the chronic psychological pains that we experience in our lives exist without the corresponding things outside of ourselves that we blame them on.

Student Talks: 3/07/2025 - The inevitable sense of emptiness that eventually nips at the heels of most men and women is the sudden realization that in spite of having "banked" a billion self-stimulating sensations -- even when all have been added up -- they still amount to nothing.

Topics covered: The mind seeks in time what can only be given in the present moment, which is a relationship with the Divine that is already being given to you; Tension is the gap between what you imagine you need and how long it takes to get there; You will never find peace in a time to come. It doesn't exist there. The idea of a "time to come" is the very disturbance in which you live because you believe in things that you don't understand...
