Remember that it is myself that I suffer. Not where I am, nor the unfolding conditions around me. I am that I am. There is no relief for the time-nature of a divided mind that creates unwanted conditions outside of itself. Our incomplete perception is the cause of our pain. We will never be free of conditions until we're free of the consciousness that is responsible for reacting to the condition and blaming the pain on that circumstance or person outside of us. What we really want is to be free of who we become in those moments when the conditions challenge who we assume we are. We must realize that we, of ourselves, we can do nothing about our suffering. We can continue to unconsciously suffer, or decide to die to this fallen nature. When you start to suffer, realize that is all that I am. If I remain there, I will learn something about the nature of the suffering, instead of that suffering telling me the nature of what is causing it. I can't not be me, but I can see me. And in seeing me, awareness reveals the unconscious nature. In the Truth of that moment, I am liberated from not wanting to be me; because I find another me that isn't in time, and waits for me to welcome it into my life.
