Trying to change our exterior relationship to life without having first allowed it to reveal what needs to be changed within us... is like trying to change our reflection in a mirror because we see something in it we don't like.
Exercise

Our lives are driven by a search for exclusivity: a sense of "feeling special." But trying to be seen as "special" only leads to captivity. We live in a world of our own making that only loves its own content -- not seeing that we are willing prisoners -- cut off from real Life and the will of Heaven. We are in "Club Me." Start understanding that when you get upset at what someone does, or what happens, it's because the imagined reality of your "Club Me" has been shaken. You think something has "gone wrong in the world," instead of actually seeing "You're in the wrong world." Use that moment -- not to change where you are, but to see where you are. See that Life is not "clubbing" you; you're living the life of the club itself. "Cancel your membership to Club Me" -- and don't join another club!
