No seed -- whether a kernel of corn, or a special talent -- can prove itself more valuable than the sweat it takes to sow it -- cultivate & nourish it -- until it offers up its latent Good. In much the same way, the soul is a seed; relationships are its ground; and what grows when all is properly cared for... is Love.
Part 2
Remembering our wish to be whole, kind, and true at all points in time is the practice of Presence. This one action is the path of spiritual purification; its revelations are the 'gateway' to all higher Kingdoms yet concealed within our consciousness.
Exercise
Exercise: Make a list for yourself of what you practice during your day -- such as depression, jealousy, worry, ambition -- and then study these states as they come up. See that all of your practices have to do with becoming something in the future -- a time when I will or won't be what I am or am not. Instead of practicing what your imagination tells you that you need, work to practice what you really love. Don't practice to succeed, practice to see. Practice "being" itself by leaving the moment pristine. You have the capacity, 24/7, to see the truth of yourself. This is what sets you free.
