When a Star Wishes on You
How can it be possible that the universe needs our love...
...Not via those overly rehearsed and well-plotted lines of familiar platitudes born of secret self-glorification, but through the love of men and women who are striving to become human...who need love in order to accomplish their great wish?
In this exchange lives and lies heavenly reciprocity: the universe gives — but only as we give in return. This is a law because this love is immutable, unyielding; (it is) not for children yet able to go beyond the introductory, but passive thrill of being naturally enthralled.
If it's true, and it is, that we have no wish of our own — other than those arising from out of a world full of incest and smug self-satisfaction — then every true wish that is stirred awake — like the ember that it is — belongs to a Flame, and that to a Living Light now forgotten.
Such a wish doesn't just anticipate the possibility of a perfect fullness that may come to pass; it is rather, the evidence of a Timeless relationship already in place, only awaiting those who will live its holy realization.
