Topics covered: Human beings don't understand what or who they are, and, for having failed to understand the purpose of their existence, they have created one for themselves; What is the main misunderstanding about the purpose of existence? That I am owed a living; We are takers - I want, I will, I'll do, I'll get - all of which must come after "I'll be."

An aspirant embarks upon the spiritual journey because of a feeling that draws them to it - but that feeling that provided the original impetus does not stay with you. At this point, when it feels like you have met a dead end in your inner work, you come to understand you must learn to rely on something else altogether.

You can't study spirit directly, but you can learn to see what's divine and celestial in the world around you. In studying a fire you come to understand what's required in order for the wood to become enflamed. Similarly, in your spiritual life, if you wish for the holy spirit to come into you and transform you, you must do your part, by bringing yourself to the place where revelation can take...

Remastered Classic Talk: 6/21/17 - Awakening to one's true Self begins with realizing that within us lives -- eternally, and right along side one another -- an endless need, as well as an endless resource that exists only to answer it!

The best things in life are not yet to come; they are inherent in the revelation of every moment in life.

Part 1: This moment -- now -- is the timeless ground, seed, and fulfillment of all that is possible for us to be; to discover its riches is the first step in realizing, and then reclaiming our True Self.

Part 2: Wanting to be anything other than aware of what creation is ceaselessly showing you about yourself is wasting what Life itself wants for you: a chance to realize, and become as one with a new and higher level of consciousness attainable in no other way.

Topics covered:  The purpose of life is to wake up from the dream life you are in and discover a new relationship with the life that is everlasting; If regret is such a great tool for self change, then why doesn't it work? We go over regrets constantly, so something in us must believe that they are useful; Regret does not transform the self. It ensures the continuation of the lower nature that condemns us through those same regrets.

Remastered Classic Talk: 9/21/16 - What good is the love of Truth without standing up for the freedom it promises to those whom love it? This means that we must attend to, embrace, and then enact what is Light, Right, and True, even in the midst of all that may seem wrong within or around us. Only by daring to bring this intention into the midst of any such dark moment are we given to see -- first hand -- how His unfailing strength is made perfect in whatever may be our weakness.

Topics covered:  The only way you will know the whole story of your life is if you participate in the Life that gives your life to you; "For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do." -- New Testament. St. Paul was saying that we are involuntarily committed to a will that hurts itself because it cannot see itself. We would not be the involuntary instrument of that will if we knew we were doing it; The nature that reacts to the moment we don't want was there before the moment we didn't want. So what is it really that does not want the moment?

Classroom Talk: 10/9/2024 - Anyone who refuses to face their fears will never know the true nature of faith, let alone its power to dispel any form of worry, confusion, or painful self-doubt.
