One basic mistake we make is that we are continually distracted into looking away from the revelations that each moment brings. It is a misunderstanding of our place in this world, and of the right order of things.

Not one thing changes that doesn't change everything else in the entire system. Freedom is being able to see that, and in seeing it you know that you are not apart from it.

To stop making the same mistakes we must understand our relationship to Reality.

Protecting yourself ensures that you remain unchanged. You would never protect yourself psychologically if you understood that it is a hindrance to your higher possibilities.

Imitation is the path of least resistance. Imitation is the past, the familiar, and is an attempt to ensure the continuation of what is old.

Anytime we believe that life has made a mistake, it is a self that has popped up that believes its mission is to fix it.

There is no "you" that exists that is going to learn how to be in right relationship with Life. The temporary self that appears to figure everything out IS the blockage between you and the right relationship that you really want.

Blaming something outside of you for your experience is born of the mistaken perception that the Divine makes mistakes.

There is no "self" in the present moment. The self separates itself out from what it calls the "present moment." The present moment is not a concept. It is a reality, an actuality that we are already a part of that reveals what is in the way of relationship with it.

When you see that you are on the wrong track, you are then on the right track. Stay there.

Thoughts about what you have seen about yourself are not the same as the fact about what you have seen. Thought removes you from the original pure impression.

The self that believes it is separate from everything it sees perceives any kind of disturbance as a mistake.

The path of least resistance is to do whatever it takes to affirm the identity that is pressing in on you at any given moment.

You cannot make a mistake in seeing what is being revealed to you. Mistakes come along downstream from identification with the reaction to the moment.

Using new knowledge in order to NOT make a mistake is not learning.

If you really knew that you did not know the answer, then you could not possibly be in anxious pursuit of it.
